I first became interested in home building while attending college at The University of Texas at Austin. I took an introductory Real Estate course that was taught by a retired custom builder. It took only a few lectures and I was hooked!
I invested the first 4 years of my career building production homes in master planned communities ranging from the coastal areas of League City and Kemah to Northwest Houston. I then moved into the inner loop areas for 1 ½ years, gaining extensive experience building in several different municipalities and venues, such as Bellaire, Meyerland, Braes Heights, West University and the Memorial Villages.
Brian and I always knew that our paths would meet again after college. The time was right to jump start our future right after Tropical Strom Allison blew through. It created the opportunity for us to hit the ground running right out of the gate with several flood reconstructions in Meyerland. A chain reaction of referrals provided additional business early on, and we have experienced continued growth and success since then.
I attribute my success in the challenging home building industry to taking personal ownership in truly enhancing my customers’ lives through delivering a pleasurable home building and home owning experience. In January of 2006, I hit a personal milestone – 10 years building custom homes.
